- Step 1Navigate to the screen that you'd like to take a picture of.
- Step 2Press the "Print Screen/SysRQ" button located at the top right hand side of your keyboard. This will "Copy" the image.
- Step 3Next you need to open a program in which you can "Paste" the image that you've just copied. The easiest way to do this is to use the Microsoft Paint program.
- Step 4Start a new file and click the "Edit" button located at the top of the window.
- Step 5Now scroll down and click the "Paste" button. You will receive this message: "The image in the clipboard is larger than the bitmap". It will ask you if you would like the bitmap enlarged. Click "Yes"
- Step 6This will display the image in its original size. In order to re-size the image simply drag the corners around the image until you have your desired length and width.
- Step 7Now you will be able to save the image as a .Bmp file
